Zachary Stecher

Zachary Stecher is a New Jersey-based sculptor whose work explores the intersection of Brutalist architecture, industrial materials, and contemporary sculpture. Working primarily with welded steel, Stecher transforms structural beams and metal plating into sculptural forms that challenge conventional ideas of design, function, and permanence.

His practice embraces the raw integrity of industrial materials, allowing exposed welds, weathered surfaces, and geometric structures to become central elements of his artistic language. Rejecting ornamentation and traditional notions of refinement, Stecher creates objects that exist somewhere between architectural remnants and artifacts of an imagined future.
