Kit Tyson's Injury Series Takes Over A Wall At Dreams On Command Gallery

Dreams On Command is currently presenting My Injury Series, an ongoing body of work by Brooklyn-based painter Kit Tyson.

First introduced to DOC audiences through our September exhibition Neighbors, Tyson returns with a focused presentation occupying an entire wall of the gallery. The series depicts injuries, bruises, scars, and other physical traces carried on the bodies of women, transforming moments of vulnerability into intimate painted studies.

My Injury Series is on view at Dreams On Command through November 8, 2026, alongside a rotating selection of works by artists from the DOC roster.
