There Are People Here

Bringing together photography, painting, and sculpture, the exhibition explores the hidden emotional, cultural, and psychological weight carried by ordinary objects, familiar spaces, and everyday human necessities. Through distinct artistic perspectives, the works examine memory, identity, and the shared experiences that shape everyday life, inviting viewers to slow down, look again, and discover the extraordinary within the familiar.

Dreams On Command’s debut group exhibition, There Are People Here, brings together the work of:

Brandon Sheer

Anna Friemoth

Victor Perez

Rim Albahrani

& Jesse Warner

The group exhibition marks a new chapter for Greenpoint’s contemporary art community.

Curated by Marcelo Mayen, the exhibition explores the hidden emotional, cultural, and psychological weight carried by ordinary objects, familiar spaces, and everyday human necessities. Living. Eating. Cooking. Being. Remembering.

Each artist transforms the familiar into something unexpected. Homes become places not of origin, but a form through which to think.

The spaces of strangers become opportunities for connection.

Eating becomes moments of unapologetic goofiness.

Ordinary household objects and symbols inspired fantastical, surreal visuals.

Together, these works remind us that behind every ordinary object, familiar space, everyday necessity, and place we call home, there are stories waiting to be discovered. There are people here.

Whether you’re a longtime collector or just starting your new collection, There Are People Here offers an invitation to slow down, look closer, and experience everyday life from entirely new perspectives.
